This fall I photographed my first wedding in a “southern” church (as opposed to a church in Arviat, Nunavut) and did I ever enjoy it! Don’t get me wrong, I love photographing outside and ‘tent’ weddings. It is just that with the church service, the wedding ritual lasts longer. This gives me more time to ‘play’ with the situation, to be creative with the photos, using the architecture of the building, etc.
